The Very First Make Something Monday!
Go Graham Go and Jolly Mom are teaming up to bring you our very first meme: Make Something Monday! We are really excited about this and hope that our fellow crafty bloggers will join in! We want to be able to connect to each other and hopefully showcase the bloggers who are truly serious about their hand-made products! If you want to participate, make sure to grab the Make Something Monday button from my sidebar.
Here is my first Make Someday Monday craft:

It is a felt birthday banner that I made for Lucas' 1 year birthday! It is so easy and cheap to make. All you need is felt, stencils, glue, and ribbon. Two of these cost me about $12 to make. So much cheaper than buying one and so much cuter! Plus, they will last much longer.

Make sure to visit Felicia at Go Graham Go she made some adorable appliqued onesies that you have to check out!

Thanks for the complient..but I truly do not think anyone would buy these from me! My mother used to always say that you can tell how good someone is at sewing by looking at the back of the item. Well..mine was less than desireable on the back! Thank you though! Now that we've started this thing...I'm worried that I will have enough things to make! LOL! I guess I can show a new onesie each week! LOL!

What a great idea! I always hate those stupid paper store bought banners. This is awesome! I love the handmade look of it and I have a weakness for felt! Great idea that I will take advantage of in the future!!

Thank you for leaving the comment on my blog..I would love to participate in Make Something Monday! How fun! I would probably have to wait until we move though..as things are so crazy with me here...(we are moving half way across country to Texas) I am also followng your Jolly Kitchen Blog now...I can't wait to make those spinach nuggets..Getting my 3 year old to eat anything, has been a struggle..I will let you know how she likes them (I KNOW I will!!) :)

I love your banner! It's so much better than a store bought paper one.

Love the banner. Looks so much better than something printed off or bought from a store.
I just wish I were crafty...
