CONTEST CLOSED-KABOOST Review and Giveaway

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Posted by Jolly Mom

The KABOOST is a portable chair booster that raises the height of your kitchen or dining chairs by attaching to the chair legs. I recently got the chance to try the KABOOST for myself. Let me tell you that this new kids' contraption is amazing and lives up to all of the hype! For parents whose kids don't want to sit in a traditional booster chair or highchair, the KABOOST is the solution. It snaps on easily and quickly to the chair legs. It stabilizes the chair and holds up to 300 pounds! It can also be flipped over to give the chair a different height as your child grows. The bottom is non-slip and it won't scratch you floors. You can get a travel bag for the KABOOST too and it is wonderful for taking to grandma's or a restaurant.

To be honest, Lucas hasn't started revolting against his highchair YET so I didn't know how much he would truly appreciate sitting at a regular chair. Last Friday, we tried it out. We all sat down for hot chocolate and biscuits at the kitchen table with Lucas sitting in a regular chair using the KABOOST. He was SO happy being in a big boy chair and he looked so comfortable. He didn't even throw his food! My husband and I loved it too because we were ALL at the table. Also, it is much easier to clean a kitchen chair that doesn't have all of the nooks and crannies of a booster or a highchair. We have upholstered, padded chairs so I just put a towel on the chair to keep it from getting dirty. After eating, it was as simple as shaking out the food bits into the trash. I can totally see this being wonderful to do craft projects with him as well. Doing them at the kitchen table or even outside on our patio table will be so much more convenient and fun. Below are some pictures of the KABOOST on one of my kitchen chairs.

Here are some examples of the KABOOST on every type of chair imaginable. It pretty much works with any chair!

KABOOST was kind enough to offer one lucky Jolly Mom reader one of these bad boys too! So, here is how you can win one!

I want the kaboost because Keegan is a big boy in a little boys body. he needs a boost to reach the table and the booster is for "babies". LOL! Not almost-preschoolers!

Ah, I published too soon. Sorry about that.

I like chocolate because it will go in our dining room and I need one because my son is still really too short to sit at the table, but he's too big for his old booster seat too. So this would be perfect.

I like the natural one. My son refuses to use a booster at the table even though it would really benefit him. Would love to see how he does with this.

  16. LeeAnn P. said...

I like the chocolate because it would fit in with my decor. I need this because my son just turned 5 and refuses to sit in a baby booster like his 3 yr old sister. But, he still needs a boost to be at the proper level at the table!

I've always wanted to try one of these! We have a hook-on chair, but if we use it over at grandma's, we often don't get it hooked back onto our table right away...so she just stands in a chair to eat! So, I'd love to try out the chocolate one-thanks for the chance!

The Chocolate Kaboost is ideal for us since our stools are brown. I just had a baby via c-section so couldn't lift my 2 year old to his booster so we 86'd it. Now he refuses to get into one and he's obviously too short for the table.

  33. Amy said...

Hmmm, to bad they don't have hot pink. The green one is my favorite but you said besides green, so I guess the next in line is the chocolate.

This would be perfect for my daughter. She likes to sit in the regular kitchen chairs and booster seats don't stay. There is always one corner that overhangs the edge of the chair making it wobbly.

I like the chocolate brown best. I like the charcoal color too. I would like to win the Kaboost so our neices and nephews can sit at the table just like the grownups. The Kaboost allows that. It is very safe and fits any type chair we would use. The Kaboost safely holds up to 300 lbs. You know it's made well. It easy to transport too.

I like the natural color, but I'd have to choose the chocolate to hide the dirt!

I want one sooo bad!! I like the chocolate color the best, it would go best with my decor!! I really want one because I think it would way more comfortable than the regular old boosters that are hard and rigid.

The brown one is great cause it is neutral and would blend ~ but seriously knowing me, I would forget it at a restaurant unless it was the blazing green, lol! I would love this, often we go out and the restaurant doesn't have any more booster seats. Plus when I go over to my dad's she would have her own seat.

I like it in Charcoal. My daughter HATES the high chair and won't use a traditional booster seat either. With one of these, she could sit like a big girl at the table with the rest of us.

I'd go for the Chocolate; for the first time ever my dining room has matching furnture (instead of our previous "Early Grandma's Attic" decorating style) and this would blend in seamlessly!

Of the non deluxe ones I like the Chocolate. I do like the green too though! It would be perfect for us because my little snoogs is fighting the high chair and refusing to eat and loves our chairs.

I love the charcoal color. This would be perfect for my toddler who hates being put into a booster seat or high chair!

We would pick the chocolate (only because you said that we couldn't pick the green - which is our real favorite).

What a great idea. I have always thought that the kids would be happier in a regular chair if only they weren't at eye level with the table.

I like the natural color. I would like this for my grandson. He's big enough to be out of his highchair, but not big enough to sit in a chair without the added boost.

The chocolate would look best with our dining room. It would be great for our son--we've been needing to get him some sort of booster for a while now. He sometimes just sits on his knees!

I like the chocolate, great color .This is a neat product and kids will feel so good . I am short not even 5 ft' so it would be awesome for me so it would always be on the chair, I can now reach the top cabinet and feel safe .

    I truly love this!
Putting it on my wish list TODAY!
