CLOSED-Munchie Mug Review and Giveaway!
Ever since Lucas has started eating real food, there is a new staple in my home. Cheerios. Everywhere. On the floor. In between the couch cushions. In his car seat. Everywhere. I'm sure mom's can relate. So, I have purchased snack cups before. Of course, the ones that claim to be spill resistant. You probably know which one I am talking about. I'm not here to name names. I'm sure that company makes other great products, but not their snack cup. So, when I came across the Munchie Mug, I was a little cautious, but hopeful that maybe it lived up to the company's claim of being spill resistant. You gotta have hope, right? I received the Munchie Mug the other day and tentatively tried it out. The clouds have parted and the sun has come out! It works…it really works! I know why it works too…the design is ingenious! Let me tell you a bit about it and show you so that you can see for yourself.
The Munchie Mug is a new spill resistant snack cup for infants and toddlers. It is BPA and phthalate free and made in the USA. The top screws on so that toddlers cannot take it off and make a mess. It also comes with an airtight lid so that your child's snacks stay fresh. It is a pretty large cup, but this is a good thing. Smaller children won't have a problem holding onto it because it has a nifty handle and for older kids, it will hold bigger snacks. The ingenious part of this cup is the overlapping fabric that keeps snacks in the cup and OFF the floor.
Instead of talking about it, let me show you. Click on the video below to see the Munchie Mug in action and compared to another cup that claims to be spill resistant. The video speaks for itself!

We have had many Mugs in the field for over a year, and the fabric has shown little sign of stretch during this period. Over time and with repeated use, some “balling” and “normal fabric wear” may be noticeable on the surface of the fabric, but this will not affect the function of the Munchie Mug. Prolonged cleaning in the dishwasher (using only the top shelf) has likewise shown to have no ill effect on the fabric or Mug itself.

Price is $12.95 and it's dishwasher safe - sound good to me!

Hey, I used to live by Sonoma! :)
Witty Works Inc. is a family-based business in Sonoma, California, that is dedicated to the safety and development of children’s products for a better world. Witty Works maintains a high standard in manufacturing and design. Witty Works was established with the concept of creating products that are safe and help to simplify life.
The first product released by Witty Works Inc. is the Munchie Mug – a spill resistant snack cup for children 10 months and older that is innovative in both concept and design. The idea was originally born in 2004 by the company’s President Phil., a precision machinist by trade, dedicated inventor, and most importantly, a Grandfather. With the help of Mike (also a grandfather), a talented engineer and close family friend, and Phil’s four children and their families, Munchie Mug went through lots of testing - and several rebirths – to become the product it is today.
