Mom Time in '09: A City Chic Diaper Bag for the Chic Mom

Being a mom shouldn’t mean giving up your sense of style, which is why I LOVE the company Skip Hop. At Skip Hop their mission is to bring parents products that appeal to their modern sense of style while at the same time making parenting easier and better. Skip Hop is the epitome of innovation and design in the baby products world. In 2003, they designed the world’s first diaper bag that converts to a stroller bag. In 2008, Skip Hop launched one of their newest diaper bags, called City Chic designed especially for the modern mom. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when I was given the chance to test this diaper bag for myself. The features of this diaper bag are phenomenal! It has everything a mom could ever want in a diaper bag and more!What I love about the City Chic Diaper Bag:
It has a very fashionable and large removable clutch on the front. It can be worn as a shoulder bag or as a wristlet. It is so convenient for quick trips or to keep your personal things separate from your baby’s.- The exterior is made with a matte laminated canvas and leather trim. It easily wipes clean and the leather adds a touch of modern elegance. The interior is lined with a bright water-resistant fabric. You can actually see your things because of the bright lining and you don’t have to worry about a spilled sippy cup or bottle ruining the interior!

I received the City Chic in the Columbus Circle pattern and all I can say is that Skip Hop has done it again! They have provided moms with the perfect union of modern design and function, which is not easy to 
achieve. The City Chic diaper bag has all of the design elements of a high end designer diaper bag, but it is also functional, which many designer diaper bags are not. I know this because I own a very expensive diaper bag. It cost over $350 and it was a total mommy splurge when I was pregnant with Lucas. I’m not going to say that it isn’t beautiful-it is. However, it is heavy and doesn’t function well as a diaper bag. The Skip Hop is way less expensive, but it is just as beautiful as my designer bag and it is functional. The removable clutch and stroller attachment straps are amazing features. Hey! We're expecting our first in May and I just spent a good 20 minutes on their website - I knew they made diaper bags but I had no idea they had so many other cool products! I'm adding the swipes wipes case to my registry right now! I love the toolbox diaper caddy - it looks like it would work for our cloth diapering system and I've been looking for something that would do the job.

The wishbone bike is really cool but we already have something similar from radio flyer. I like the tubby but would like some reviews before purchasing and I would love the studio tote but none of the stores in my neighborhood carry it!
