butt-ums up babyTM Review: Modern Baby Essentials for New Moms
I have to say that before I was a mom I didn't know that spit-up, drool, and other bodily fluids would become such a normal topic of every day conversation-LOL. All new moms experience on a daily and really what seems like a constant hour by hour basis the non-stop drool and spit-up of a newborn baby. Burp cloths are a must-have in every new mom's baby supply arsenal! I figure if you have to have them; they might as well be cute and stylish, right? butt-ums up babyTM has all new moms covered in the style category with modern burp cloths, diaper changing pads, and blankets.About butt-ums up babyTM:
Stacy Sager, owner and founder of butt-ums up babyTM, has combined a mother's love with a passion for travel and an amour for style to create an unparallel new line of baby essentials. Stacy's inspiration for "butt-ums up babyTM" came from traveling with two children while accompaning her husband during his various assignments across the globe. Traveling with two children in diapers became cumbersome as well as a challenge to find a sanitary area to make the necessary changes. Stacy and Mary Jo (Stacy's mom) came up with, "butt-ums up babyTM" their solution to how all parents can change a baby's "butt-um" faster, more efficiently and in style.
Stacy sent me one of butt-ums up baby's personalized burp cloths with Lucas' name on it and it is gorgeous! These are beautifully embroidered with your baby's name and are made from six thick layers of 100% cotton cloth diapers. They are large measuring at 14x20 and are machine washable and tumble dry. They also coordinate with butt-umps up baby blankets and diaper changing pads and each burp cloth comes beautifully packaged in a white organza bag. Perfect for gift giving as a baby shower gift or new mom gift! These burp cloths are seriously durable and made to last. Not to mention that they definitely fall under the Haute Momma category!

While you're at butt-ums up baby, you HAVE to check out their awesome diaper changing pads. Really, they are diaper changing systems. They are extremely convenient and have an easy one-handed release, which is a must when juggling a child in one arm and the changing pad in the other. It has an easy access inside pocket for your diapers and wipes. They are machine washable and the inner lining is easily wipeable. Best of all, check out the beautiful patterns! My favorite is this Black Toile with the pink accent-seriously stylish!
butt-ums up babyTM is the perfect place to shop for baby shower gifts and new mom gifts and honestly, for yourself too! You deserve to be a modern, stylish mom too!

As a mom-to-be, I greatly appreciate this review! I have been browsing at diaper changing pads and have yet to see one that has a "one handed" design. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

I love the diaper changing pads. They are not only attractive but very well thought out in creating. I have bookmarked this site for future gifting ideas.

One-handed ease certainly makes this a great new product. I'm a veteran diaper-changer of four (still at it too), so anything that makes life easier for us moms....well...it rocks! I also appreciate that all their products are made here in our country, as I do not buy things from China.

I had never heard of this site until I read your review and the site itself is beautiful and enticing. I cannot express enough how a homepage makes me want to explore or ignore. This one definitely caught my attention and I loved looking around. I especially liked the comfy and adorable blankets!

After reading this, I kinda wish I were having another baby! I had the plain old white cloth diapers and burp clothes that you buy by the truckload...nothing special or pretty like these. Having these would make even changing dirty diapers fun! (well..almost..lol)

These are adorable! Way better than the ones I had!
I love things that are personalized! It's def the new trend in baby gifts too.

These are really adorable and I wish they were around when I was a young mother. But they do say the next best thing to having things yourself is being able to get them for others and I think these would make great baby shower gifts.

My youngest son had a problem with reflux until he was well over a year old. And seeing how it was me those burp cloths were draped over, it would have been nice if they were as stylish as these ones! Although I would almost have hated for him to mess them up!

My toddler used to spit up constantly until the age of 5 months, then magically stopped. I used to wear the "badge of honor" on my shoulder all the time, even while using burp cloths, cloth diapers, and receiving blankets trying to prevent it. These burp cloths are almost too beautiful to use as intended - but I am sure would help make putting up with the mess easier for new moms!

Sometimes we just don't seem like "moms" unless we have that wonderful aroma of vomit right over our shoulders but seriously I like the changing pads that incorparoate everything you need to change the baby with ease.

I have to be honest -- although my baby spits up all the time (tapering off a little now that he's 7 months) I don't really go in for buying burp cloths. I just use towels and/or cloth diapers. The few official burp cloths given to us were useless because they were not absorbent enough and the spit-up just kind of slid off them! That said, butt-ums up's burp cloths look MUCH better made. They look like they were made by someone who has actually been puked on plenty of times!
I love the idea of the all-in-one changing pad -- love the green and blue camo versions! -- but I wish they showed a pic of the inside on the website. I also really like the blue camo security blankie too.

I love that you can get these personalized! It's amazing how often I leave things at the park or playground because I have older kids. Something like this means that no one will take it and those who do know who to return it to!
