Color Me Company Review and Coupon
In this day and age-amidst the sea of battery powered toys and video games, it is difficult to find products that allow children to get creative. If you follow my blog, you know that I get very happy when I find anything that encourages a child's imagination, which is why I am thrilled to introduce you to a wonderful company called Color Me Company. Paul Marciano decided to start Color Me Company after he gave his goddaughter a store bought Christmas card and realized that it didn't hold any meaning for the young girl. His goddaughter took the store bought greeting card, personalized it herself, and showed it to Paul. So, Paul decided to start his own greeting card company in which kids could express themselves and personalize to their hearts content.
Color Me Company now sells more than just colorable greeting cards. They also sell colorable pillow cases, stockings, and T-shirts all with the cutest designs. All of the artwork (besides the Madeline pillowcase) on the products are actually submitted by children!
I received the Angel T-shirt to review or I should say my niece, Victoria did! The T-shirt comes with everything you need to color the shirt. You get a matching greeting card, crayons, fabric markers, and directions for setting the color. This past weekend Victoria visited me and she quickly got to work on coloring her shirt. She was SO excited! I was actually also going to see her the next evening so I told her that she didn't have to do it right away, but there was no way I was keeping her from coloring her shirt at that point-LOL.
To say that she loved it would be an understatement! I saw her again the next night and she was proudly wearing her Angel T-shirt AGAIN!
As an added bonus, Color Me Company also firmly believes in giving back! Their motto is that “Giving is Good” so 10% of their gross proceeds are donated to children’s charities. The really cool part is that YOU choose through their Charity Choice Program. Basically, when you order a product and go to checkout, you choose which charity you want the money to go to. How cool is that?! I love Color Me Company!

I love the fact that they make donations to charity. It is even more excellent that you can select the charity you choose when you make the purchase. Just another small way we can all make a difference in the world!

My sister got one of these for her daughter for Christmas, and it's all the girl talked about. She wanted to start coloring it before she even started opening any of her other gifts. Now, it's the first shirt she pulls out of the closet EVERY MORNING for school. My sister went and had the words "colored by Alyssa" embroidered on the shirt before giving it to her, so now they have a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork for Alyssa to wear. Plus, when Alyssa outgrows the shirt, my sister plans to turn it into a pillow that Alyssa can keep forever.

These are really cute! I like that you can set the color. I have a color-your-own t-shirt that washes out every time! It's fun for the kids to color, but a little sad to see their work disappear!

I am always happy to find a company that "gives back." I love that this Color Me Company donates so much to charities! And they have a good product that encourages children to help create something, thus giving children confidence in their own abilities. Very nice!

I am really impressed by this company. They take the kids back to creativity in ways to occupy their time, they give a percentage to charity and they let the purchaser choose the charity. Those are unique and wonderful characteristics for a company to possess.

I remember getting a sweatshirt and puffy paint set one Christmas, and I thought that was really cool. This is even better than that gift! I think it would be neat to do one of these a year, or every other year, and then you can see how your child's coloring as improved. And, after they outgrow the shirts, you can make them into quilts! Great product!

I love this!!! I want to be a "Chief Coloring Officer" when I grow up. I love their story and that you can choose your own charity. I have to admit the pillowcases are my favorites. Especially the ones with airplanes and cow. But the Jump for the Stars Slumber Party Pillowcase Kit is just awesome. Thank you for sharing this. There is so much yuck on the web it is nice to see something so wholesome.

this is great- thanks for the review... what little kid wouldn't LOVE to wear their own art? :) My mom and I used to make shirts together when I was little, and I would love to do this with my little one!

This is a neat idea, although I worry a bit. My kids are 4, 3, and 1. Obviously I wouldn't let my 1 year old do this, but I know my other 2 would love it. However, would they decide that they need to color up their other clothes too?? Mine probably would. =)

I think this is a great idea~! Wish I had thought of it. Children love to color and display their art work and what better way than on a T-Shirt that they colored themselves.
Have a great weekend~!

This is awesome, thank you for sharing. My grandkids would love this. What budding artist wouldn't? It is also nice to know you are contributing to charity too.

As an artist, I think this is a brilliant idea! All the battery powered, mechanical, 5000000 piece toys aren't personal...and the batteries wear out, the pieces get lost and the mechanical parts break. (At least they do in my house!)
I love the idea that kids can infuse their own personality - and I love that you get to pick the charity. Not many companies do that...in fact, none come to mind. I appreciate you introducing this cool creative outlet - and I'm going to patronize his store as much as I can. :)

I appreciate a company that encourages and fosters creativity. Too much time being entertained and not engaging in activities has taken over our childrens lives.

WOW, how awesome. Really a great idea, all in one project. Creating something original that can become a keepsake. And for good causes too. This will be a hit at parties.

I can imagine kids would be so proud of their own creativity when they "make" a shirt / card / etc. by themselves. This would be perfect for birthday parties, preschool projects, etc. I'd definitely get one of these products for my kids!

I think this is an awesome company that is carrying on an awesome mission. Great products that kids (I bet adults too) have fun with. Not just some throw away toy. You are making a memory and giving to charity.
Thanks for sharing this with us,

This is really cool!!! My niece is 6 and she is going to have her first big girl sleep over party this spring. I'll have to tell my sister about the Color Me Company. She has been wondering about what activities to do. She's trying to steer away from makeup and video games or just watching movies.
Great review, thanks.
