Make Something Monday: Shabby Chic Table
For this Make Something Monday, I thought I'd show you guys our family room coffee table. I bought it at a garage sale for $10. It used to have green legs and a light colored stained top. It also had crayon marks all over it. I sanded the top and restained it with a darker color. I painted the legs and then distressed. Cheap, pretty, and easy to do!

ok I just found your site and saw this and had to laugh, since I bough a table EXACTLY like this one at a garage sale for my daughters new apt. Well, she gave it back and I have been thinking of painting it also. I want to do something similar. It is all a lite washed color with some small stains..but, will be easy to sand and redo. Now I am reeally inspired. It will have to wait till I can use both arms..soon I hope! Oh, and I bought some rounded wooden feet to raise it a bit and add a little bit more style.
