Mom Time in '09: Makeup Made Simple! 5 Winners!

Who here struggles with applying eye shadow? If you could see me, you would see me emphatically raising my hand! It’s hard to reproduce the great looks you see in magazines or on your favorite celeb. I’ve tried for years to get that awesome smoky, sultry eye and while I have gotten better; it is still not even close to the look I want. When I came across Color On Professional Eye Envy Eye Shadow Kits, I was really intrigued and jumped at the chance to try them out.
Eye Envy was developed by a makeup artist named Irina Iosilevich who wanted to give women a way to reproduce a professional makeup application at home. The eye shadow kits are single-use, hygienic, hypoallergenic applicators that do not require any makeup skills or additional tools. The pure mineral eye shadow is waterproof, crease-proof, and lasts all day. Basically, the mineral eye shadow comes on an oval shaped paper that you press on your eye lid to give you a professional application.
colorOn Professionals sent me two kits and I just happened to receive them on Christmas Eve, which was perfect timing! The instructions sounded easy enough, but honestly, I was scared that I wouldn’t know how to do it. I was totally scared for nothing because it was so easy! You just place the oval applicator on your eye lid, smooth or tap with your finger, remove the oval, blend the colors with your fingertips, and set with the powder provided. Everything you need comes in the kit and each eye shadow applicator can be used twice. You get the eye shadow applicators, an eye shadow brush, and the setting powder. The kit I received had 10 applicators so that means 20 applications! The results are ultra glamorous eyes that look like they have been professionally done. I actually really enjoyed your review of MBT. I have seen these in catalogs and wondered if they were as great as they made them out to seem. Also I wondered what it would be like to walk in them!
