Tuthillo the Perfect Tooth Fairy Pillow

For me, one of the greatest things about being a child is believing in the unbelievable. As a mom, I know that I will do everything possible for Lucas to experience the magic of make-believe. One way my parents did this for me by making holidays and milestone events magical and unforgettable and I cherish those memories. I can remember waking up the morning after I lost a tooth and being so excited to see what the Tooth Fairy had left for me under my pillow. She (a.k.a. My Mom) would always leave me notes, money, and other little trinkets. I can imagine that sneaking into my room and searching under my pillow for an itty bitty tooth without waking me up was not an easy task for my mom or any mom for that matter.So, soon I will become the Tooth Fairy in my home, which is why I was so thrilled when I happened to run across the Tuthillo while surfing the web one night. The Tuthillo is one of the cutest tooth fairy pillows I have ever seen and it will make a parent's Tooth Fairy duties so much easier. Not to mention that your kids will love it!
First, you should know that Tuthillo is pronounced "tooth-uh-low"...kind of like tooth pillow. So, how does it work? The Tuthillo has two pockets: a smaller tooth pocket on the front and a larger back pocket for money or the surprise of your choice. So, the Tooth Fairy comes in snatches the tooth from the front pocket and quickly leaves a small present in the back pocket. This is much easier than searching around UNDER a pillow for a small tooth! The Tooth Fairy can be in and out in a flash without being detected! You can be a totally high-tech, super sleuthing Tooth Fairy and your kids will be none the wiser!
What I really love about the Tuthillo is that it is really a cuddly companion for your child year-round. It's not just for a lost tooth. They are super cute and will be loved by your children for years and years! Your child can also use them to soften the fear of going to the dentist. In fact, there's a dentist's office that actually stocks these especially for that reason!
When I receievd the Tuthillo the first thing that I noticed is the softness. Honestly, unless you hold it yourself, it's hard to imagine how unbelievably soft the Tuthillo really is. Lucas is only 19 months now so he hasn't been able to use this as a tooth pillow, but what I can tell you is from the first moment he held his Tuthillo; he was in love. Seriously, he just loves to cuddle with his new buddy and uses it as an actual pillow while he sleeps! Tuthillos make wonderful gifts too. So, as an adult, I devised a way to help other parents keep the magic alive for their kids, one tooth at a time. And at the same time, I took heart knowing that with my design kids can enjoy a furry friend by their side whenever they need one -- not just when a tooth is lost. A cuddly confidant (and companion on scary trips to the dentist) is much better than a silly little pouch or a small square pillow with a traditional pocket. And certainly it's better for a parent than fumbling in the dark for a tiny tooth placed willy-nilly under a pillow that can shift during sleep.

cute story in the about us section - At the age of 8, teetering on the brink of no longer believing in the Tooth Fairy, I decided to find out once and for all. That night when I put my tooth into a small pouch under my pillow, I rigged a booby trap for the "Tooth Fairy." Seems like one a lot of us have lived.

I love how Heather recounts her experience as an 8-year old. I wanted to discover the tooth fairy too. I never thought about tying a ribbon, though.
How much is a baby tooth worth these days? We received a quarter growing up. My daughter is just 16-months so I haven't gone through the losing teeth stage yet.
