It all started with two friends and a vision over 28 years ago. John Paul DeJoria and Paul Mitchell had the idea to found a company for hairdressers-one that would provide tools of success for hair care professionals and educators, their salons, and the entire beauty industry. Their company eventually came to be known as Paul Mitchell Sytems® and their brand: Paul Mitchell®. Tragically, Paul Mitchell passed away of pancreatic cancer, but the company goes on under co-founder and CEO John Paul. I love tea tree shampoo! I've used it for several years. My husband always calls it "that special stuff that I (he) can't use." For the record, I've offered to share it with him, but he says he doesn't want to use up "my" stuff.
The tingling is great, and the scent is wonderful, even theraputic. In fact, the scent fills the room. Anytime I use it, my husband can tell as soon as he walks in to the bathroom.

This is such an amazing product. I buy it for my 14 year old that has dry scalp problems....before we started using it, she had dandruff like you wouldn't believe. A beautician recommended it...and her hair is so beautiful now...plus it smells great in the house when she washes her hair. Sure, it is a little pricey, but the end result is worth it! Works so much better than other grocery store dandruff shampoos!

I agree with Felicia, it makes your head tingle and it also burns like hell and stings forever if you get it in your eyes, which I always seem to do. LOL

I saw this produce at my hair dresser a few weeks ago and thought about it. The cost put me off a little but maybe I need to reconsider considering their environmental policies! Thanks for coming by the apron goddesses and checking it out!!

I've used Paul Mitchell hairspray for years. It has one of the best lines out there. I don't use as much now since my hair is straight. I'd like to try the Express Ion Smooth 1.25.

I love Paul Mitchell haircare products, and I am really sold on tea tree and its healing properties. The tea tree oil shampoo does tingle and sting, but the "clean" and the medicinal properties to the scalp are well worth it. I would like to try the Paul Mitchell "Elixir" products designed as therapy for color treated hair.

I would like to try Paul Mitchell's Modern Elixirs Color Therapy, because these formulas provide protection against environmental elements and guard against UV damage!
