Homemade Baby Food Made Simple with the So Easy Baby Food Kit
Have you ever tried jarred baby food? Not good at all. Even the organic stuff is not good. If you haven't, you should. Mash up a sweet potato and take a bite. Then, open up a jar of sweet potato baby food and take a bite. You'll instantly know what I mean. Look, I'm no Super Mom. Lucas got some jarred baby food too, but I did try to make as much of it as possible. The truth is that it is not hard to do and doesn't take up much time. Not to mention that you will save money. The biggest reward though is knowing exactly what you are feeding your baby. You can rest easy knowing without a doubt that there are no preservatives, chemicals, added salt, sugar, and a host of other bad things we don't want our babies to ingest.Recently, I was contacted by Fresh Baby to review their So Easy Baby Food Kit and I am so excited to bring it to you today. If you have a baby, are pregnant, or know someone who is; this is definitely your day. I know that making your own baby food can feel like a hassle or even intimidating, but the So Easy Baby Food Kit will totally change your mind.
About the So Easy Baby Food Kit:
The So Easy Baby Food Kit takes all of the guesswork out of making baby food. This all-in-one kit shows you how to prepare fresh, natural meals for your baby in less than 30 minutes a week. It comes with a cookbook, how-to video, freezer storage trays, and nutrition tips card.
After receiving the kit all I can do is rave about it. The How-To DVD is a great resource and starts you off on the right foot when it comes to making baby food. The nutrition tips card is so awesome. It is laminated and perfect to keep in the kitchen for easy reference. It even includes CPR for a choking infant! The freezer storage trays are excellent quality: really strong and durable. They are also BPA and phthalate free so no worries about safety! And, the cookbook is really the star of this kit. It is a beautiful, hardcover book with 118 pages. It is so comprehensive and gives you must-have information on kitchen tools, safety, on the go meal preparation tips, baby food recipes by age group, and so much more. I love how the book tells you to not make more than 2 foods per week because you will build a stock pile. It really make the process of making baby food much less intimidating and easy to manage. As an added bonus, the book has pages for you to record memories, milestones, and place pictures of your baby.I would have LOVED this kit when Lucas was a baby and I am excited to use it with my next baby. The So Easy Baby Food Kit is also an obvious choice when buying the perfect baby shower or new mom gift.
Want It: The So Easy Baby Food Kit retails for $37.95 and can be purchased at various retailers or online at Fresh Baby.
