ShopWiki: Online Shopping Search Engine and Site

If you're an avid online shopper like I am, then you should check out ShopWiki. ShopWiki is a really cool and useful shopping search engine. Basically, ShopWiki actively crawls over 200,000 online stores and gives you ALL the results. A lot of shopping search engines will only give you the companies that have paid to have their company or product placed, but ShopWiki will give you everything even if they will not make any money from it. That way you can be assured that you are getting not only accurate results, but more importantly-the best deal!

Another great thing about ShopWiki is the many search options that are available. You can literally narrow down your search to just about anything. For example, when searching for baby products, you can do a traditional baby product search that includes any or ALL of the following variables price, special features, brand and retailer. Another cool feature is ShopWiki's buying guides. For example, if you wanted to research baby and toddler products, then you would enter: Baby & Toddler. ShopWiki would then bring up their Babies and Toddlers Buying Guide.

I started with a search for Clothing & Boys and ShopWiki brought back their Boys Clothing Buying Guide. What's really cool about it is that ShopWiki doesn't just give you products. The first thing in the boys' clothing buying guide is helpful information on how to buy the right size. Then, the products are categorized into either casual or dressy clothing for boys and then subcategorized into the type of clothing (shirts, sleepwear, etc). The buying guides are perfect when you are still in the research phase of buying. This is great for any type of product, but for me I especially like to research and comparison shop when I buy products for Lucas. There are just SO MANY children's products out there that I always research before I buy Lucas any toys or baby gear. I want to know that I know all of the options AND more importantly, that I am getting the best price!
