I've been searching for an easy AND effective way to clean my floors for a very long time now. The truth is that with a dog and a toddler, my floors usually require a lot of elbow grease to truly get clean. Shark sent me a Steam Mop for me to review and I am seriously impressed with how clean it gets my floors and how easy it is to use! First of all, the Shark Steam Mop takes literally a few minutes to put together when you take it out of the box. Just snap a few of the pieces together and you are done. When you're ready to clean, you fill the reservoir with water (they recommend distilled water, but I just used regular water) and 30 SECONDS later the Steam Mop is ready! The steam that comes out of this mop is awesome! What's really cool is if you have to REFILL the reservoir in the middle of cleaning, you DO NOT have to wait for the mop to cool down at all!

Also, the cord is 20 feet long, which is a great size for most households. However, since we have hardwood floors throughout our entire 2 story house, we obviously have to use an extension cord or just switch outlets. The Shark Steam Mop is also very lightweight and the shape actually makes it easy to clean hard-to-reach places like under furniture or tight spaces. What I love about it the most is that it eliminates the need for a mop and bucket and the inevitable cleaning with dirty water. Best of all, it also eliminates the need to use harsh chemical cleaners, which makes the Shark Steam Mop a GREEN way to clean your floors! We've already used the Shark Steam Mop more than a handful of times and both my husband and I have fallen in love with it! It really gets the job done-our floors are literally squeaky clean after we use it!





The Shark Steam Mop that I received came with two microfiber cleaning cloths and a carpet glider. The carpet glider is also pretty cool. It can be attached to the Steam Mop and used to freshen carpets and rugs!
