Potty Tots Potty Training Kit Review and Giveaway!
We started potty training Lucas this week. Oh boy. Now, I see why there are so many guides, manuals, and books on the matter! No, really it hasn't been that bad. It definitely takes a lot of patience and I think the biggest key is to keep the entire process as fun and low-stress as possible for the child. One program that has really helped Lucas this week is Potty Tots!

About Potty Tots (from the website):
Developed by two moms, Potty Tots® offers comprehensive, child-centered potty training products and online resources. The company focuses on the need for a fun, stress-free potty training experience by using a group of ethnically diverse preschool characters who engage children in singing and dancing their way through the six steps of potty training.
Most of all, the Potty Tots Program is the most FUN children will have when potty training! Their motto is based on the common little toddler phrase, “I can do it, all by myself!” By encouraging this independence, children build confidence and self esteem. The interactive program features the adorable Potty Tots that sing and dance to teach the six steps of potty training.
Potty Tots sent Lucas their Potty Training Kit for Boys for me to review. The kit includes:

Right out of the box I was impressed with the kit. It came with a personalized letter for Lucas and a couple of Potty Tots tattoos! Very cute! So, the first thing we did is watch the DVD, which Lucas loves! He can't get enough of the DVD and watches it daily. Honestly, the animation is some of the cutest I have ever seen. The "tots" are ADORABLE, the music is fun, and there's even a little humor. More importantly, I think it has really helped him see the potty as something "fun" rather than scary, which is EXACTLY what he thought before. At night, we read the Potty Tots book to reinforce the potty training steps and most of all that POTTYING IS FUN!
The Potty Chart is so wonderful and truly a must-have for any parent potty training their child! It allows you to easily explain with pictures the steps to using the potty. You hang it in the bathroom and then you can use the chart as a visual guide for your child. It's amazing actually how much the chart has helped Lucas who is only 21 months old. The kit also comes with a reward game and clings. Lucas is a bit young to understand the game so we just use it as a reward chart. Everytime he goes potty, we put one of the cute Potty Tot clings on the reward chart.

The Potty Tots Potty Training Kit is an excellent way to make potty training fun for kids while still helping them understand the process. It builds the confidence they need to succeed! The Potty Tots website is also a wonderful potty training resource for parents and offers fun activities for kids. The site includes a “Parent’s Page” with an FAQ section; an online informational newsletter, “Tidbits for Toddlers;” and “Tales from Toddlerhood,” a Blog which offers parents a forum to share experiences and seek advice from others in similar situations. There also is a “Just for Tots” page, which includes coloring-pages, interactive games and a “Meet the Potty Tots” page, as well as a Potty Tots “Diploma,” which can be customized and printed once the child’s potty training has been mastered.
Want It: The Potty Tots Potty Training Kit is available for both boys and girls and retails for $19.99
