Wordless Wednesday: The Bahamas

These were taken years ago in the Bahamas. On our first night, there was a big storm and the patio furniture was literally flying around outside. I was so scared and told Mike that I thought it was a hurricane. He kept saying, "If it was a hurricane, the resort staff would tell us." The next day we were going to the Straw Market and took a cab. The first thing the cab driver said was, "So, how about that Cat 2 hurricane last night?" LOL We had a blast though! We even swam with the dolphins, which is one of the most awesome things I have ever done. I left that trip swearing that I was going to find a way to become a dolphin trainer.
This was also back when we were "cool" and Mike wore earrings and I wore a bikini (LOL). Those days are long gone!

And....a Cat 2....just a little windstorm. Come down here one year and experience a Cat 4. Now, that is NOT fun. LOL

Lucky duck! Looks like so much fun!!! Growing up, I wanted to be a dolphin trainer or killer whale trainer. Then I realized I'd have to move out of AZ. The dream ended there. LOL
Ah yes, the days of the bikini... I really don't miss those. I'll stick with my tankini (yes, with skirt!). =)

Love the underwater shot of you two... Cat 2 huh... Made that a trip full of memories... Not sure if you knew but I use to train dolphins.. Hard but it was one of the best jobs I had.. if you want to see some pictures of the baby dolphin I worked with go to my site and look at the photos link...

My husband and I adore the bahams. It is one of our favorite vaction spots. I love to snorkel about every chance I get.
