Make Something Monday: Toddler Art Supplies

Monday, June 15, 2009 Posted by Piera Jolly

We haven't made anything YET, but over the weekend we got Lucas a bunch of arts and crafts supplies. One of the things that we got him is a Crayola Color Wonder coloring book (thank you, Renee for telling me about them!) and markers that was on sale at Wal-mart for $5! Anyhow, I am really excited about doing some arts and crafts with the kiddo this week! And, maybe eventually I will get a chance to make something I want to make (lol).

Man! My son isn't old enough to do crafts yet. When he is it'll probably be crafting overload! I love it. :)

So ,uch fun! I've just started stocking up on art supplies for my boys - stickers are their favorite. They love for me to draw scenes (ocean, road etc.) and then they put the stickers in the scene that they belong in.

I bought Color Wonder stuff and they weren't a big fan of it - the color doesn't show up right away, it takes it a couple seconds and they weren't patient enough for it LOL *I* thought it was cool though!
