The Safe Sippy2 Review & Giveaway
In early 2009, I had the {awesome} opportunity to review The Safe Sippy and I am very excited to announce that the makers--Kid Basix--are back today with the brand new Safe Sippy2! The Safe Sippy2 is the world's first 2--in-1 sippy-to-straw cup! Basically, this cup converts from a spout sippy cup to a straw cup. The Safe Sippy2 has all of the great features of the original PLUS a few more. It comes with a dust cap to keep the spout clean; a no-leak travel plug, a straw and straw adaptor.
Features:
- Made from non-leaching medical-grade stainless steel, which does not interact with foods or liquids.
- Colorful rubber sleeve protects the cup from being damaged, helps insulate cold drinks, and protects little hands from getting cold.
- Comes with removable handles.
- Spout is actually shaped like a straw because research has shown that the traditional, wide spout can cause speech problems.
- The little plastic this cup actually has is all certified free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA.
- Dishwasher safe!

Want It: The Safe Sippy2 comes in three bright, modern colors and can be purchased at various online retailers or in a store near you.
This contest is closed. Congratulations to the winner, Jami! Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to contact me.

I learned that The valve is designed to prevent big spills. A few drips may come out when the cup is turned upside down. Making it completely drip-proof would also make it difficult for a child to drink from. If the dripping seems excessive. amsblda@hotmail.com

Since no one wants to drink from a steel straw Safe Sippy insisted that all of their plastics be certified free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA. The spout of the cup is made from Polypropylene, #5 plastic. PP is the most stable of all plastics.

The rubbery sleeve surrounding the cup is made of something called thermo plastic rubber, or TPR. It provides insulation when you put cold liquids into the cup on hot summer days.

The valve is designed to prevent big spills. A few drips may come out when the cup is turned upside down. Making it completely drip-proof would also make it difficult for a child to drink from. My child loves to drink from a straw now and I could really benefit from this.

The rubbery sleeve around cup is thermo plasticized rubber or TPR which insulates to keep liquids cold, makes it easy for child to grip cup, and if cup is dropped TPR protects stainless steel and your toes - another reason why they called it "The Safe Sippy".

Love the Making Kids' Lives Better line - that sums it up I think.
Wish more companies felt that way.
Thanks!

There are so many things that this sippy has that many others do not. It has a unique spout, stainless steel, plastic which is actually trustworthy, of course the handles, got to love those, and te fact that bright colors were used in order to keep the children interested in them! You can definitely tell this product had the intention of making sure it was not only a sippy but the best sippy available!

I learned that the founder was going crazy because he was giving his son a sippy every morning full of toxins!

Great giveaway! I learned that the Safe Sippy factory is in China, but the owners visit frequently to make sure everything is up to par. I think that is fantastic...as is their product :-)

These are the neatest cups! At the website, I learned that the plastic on the outside is called "thermoplastic" to keep drinks cold and hands safe and clean!
Very neat concept and very visually appealing cups - we'd love to win!
Thanks for the great giveaway!

i found that the cups founder designed it because he hated the dangerous chemicals in plastic cups!
