I don't personally want to try anything else. Looks dangerous for ME! But, I would like either a youth helmet or protective pads. If my kiddo gets these, he will have both!

I like the Wave board as it for the younger riders & the Child Steet Surfing Helmet - Orange/Green is awesome. I've always like skate helmet better than bike helmets.

the The Wave Camo Carry Bag would be very helpful in demonstrating that the board is not going to be used quickly... (stores & schools around here don't allow you in the building with a board... To me, that's just an invite for thieves having a group of boards outside...)
