If you're looking for a delicious AND healthy Summer treat for the whole family, then check out Chiquita Frozen Fruit Smoothies! The awesome people over at Chiquita gave me the opportunity to try them out. As soon as I received the box from Chiquita, I immediately opened it and was very surprised to find that not only did they send me the two of each of the four smoothie flavors to review, but also some extras--a blender, a smoothie attachment, cups, and some other goodies! Well, since Chiquita wanted to make sure that we were prepared to make smoothies, I thought "there's no time like the present" and decided to make smoothies for the whole family.


These are so easy to make. All you do is blend the 12 oz. smoothie can with water and ice and you're in business! However, you can also take these to another level by adding various ingredients such as yogurt, milk, peanut butter, protein powder, and more. The first batch we made, I added milk, a tablespoon of peanut butter, and some chocolate syrup to the banana colada smoothie. Mmmmmmm. Delicious. Seriously. Mike and Lucas both LOVED them! We cannot get enough of these smoothies! All eight cans are now gone and they are on next week's grocery list--that's how much we love them! What's great about Chiquita Smoothies is that they make the perfect consistency smoothie. For us, making smoothies can be hit or miss--sometimes the consistency is right and sometimes the smoothie turns out too thin or too thick. Not with Chiquita Smoothies--we always got a perfect smoothie everytime. It's also worth mentioning again that they are SO GOOD!
