Sprint HTC Snap Review Part 1 (upcoming giveaway)
Some of you may remember the other day I mentioned being really excited about getting the {awesome} opportunity to review the brand new HTC Snap cell phone. Well, it arrived a couple of days ago and so far I am loving it! To be honest, I was kind of living in the dark ages when it came to cell phones. My old cell phone didn't do anything fancy--just text messaging, phone calls, and it could take pictures. No internet capabilities or calendars, etc. The HTC Snap is a huge leap forward technologically for me and I am excited to see how it can help me not only communicate with others, but also manage my days better. Not to mention that now I can even manage my blog, email, and Tweet right from my phone! You guys may get way too much Piera in the coming weeks {LOL}!Obviously, I JUST got the phone so I am working on setting it up with my contacts and learning more about the phone so I haven't even used all of the features. I will tell you though that the most impressive thing about this phone so far is how unbelievably fast it is! It loads internet pages super quick! Mike {my hubby} is really impressed and that's saying quite a bit--in fact I am pretty sure he is a little bit jealous {LOL}. Other features that I am loving: the camera takes excellent pictures and the video camera is great too! You can even edit your pictures! The picture quality of the screen is crystal clear-beautiful!I also love how slim, sleek, and lightweight the phone is. It certainly doesn't hurt one bit that the HTC Snap is very easy of the eyes! The HTC Snap is a Sprint phone and to be honest I have never used Sprint before now, but I can say that the service has been great! No dropped calls or poor reception. The only con so far is that the keyboard is going to take a little time to get used to. The buttons are small so at times, I press two keys at once or the wrong one altogether I think it's the type of the thing that after a while you just get used to it so hopefully in a few days it won't be an issue anymore.
Here is how this review will work--in the next two weeks, I will be telling you about my experience with the phone. Likes and dislikes. Everything. Then, starting July 31st, you will get the chance to win your very own HTC Snap phone! That's right--one Jolly Mom reader will win! In the meantime, I would love to hear from you guys too--what do you want from a phone? And...for my readers who comment on the actual review posts {including this one} and join the discussion--there will be extra entries. More on that later.
Note: I was sent this product to test and keep for the purpose of writing a review.

Was wondering how well that phone worked. Currently have a Palm Centro and was thinking of upgrading to that or the Palm Pre.

Sounds like a pretty cool phone. Lately, I haven't had a lot of requests in a phone, but here more recently I have truly been looking for one that will allow me to take care of my webpage and all the extras while I am away from the house.

I really wanted to try this phone but I ended up getting a Palm Pre a couple of days ago. I love the Palm Pre.
This phone looks great!

The phone sounds great. My cell phone is very basic. Due to some physical limitations I'd like a phone that has voice recognition and voice activation/dialing capabilities.

I would love to hear more about this phone too. It sounds awesome. I have a Blackberry 8330 now from Sprint and have a few problems with it.

I'm really behind the times because I haven't gotten a cell yet. I don't know that much about them, but it would have to be something really easy to use and set up for me.
