DIY Birthday: Felt Birthday Banner

Thursday, August 27, 2009 Posted by Jolly Mom

I thought that this was an opportune time to bring back a post from a long time ago--literally from the first month I started my blog!

It is a felt birthday banner that I made for Lucas' 1 year birthday! It is so easy and cheap to make. All you need is felt, stencils, glue, and ribbon. Two of these cost me about $12 to make. So much cheaper than buying one and so much cuter! Plus, they will last much longer.

I did one for my shower but it was made of photo paper topped with color tissue paper. It is super easy to make and looks great!

That's really cute! I love that you can keep it and reuse it. I hate spending money on birthday decorations that you'll only use for a few hours... thanks for sharing!
