AJ Wright, Where Fashion & Value Fit: My Pre-Grand Opening Event Experience

Last week, I was invited to a pre-grand opening event held exclusively for bloggers by AJ Wright right here in Atlanta. To be honest, I had never heard of AJ Wright stores, but when I was told that it is part of the TJX Stores {LOVE Marshalls and TJ Maxx!} and I was told I would be given a $100 to see how far I could stretch my money at AJ Wright--I was in! As it turned out, AJ Wright just opened up three brand new stores here in Atlanta and the blogger event was held at one that is about 10 minutes from my house--pretty cool. Not only did I go, but I also got to take Mike with me--we were ready to shop!
We got to the store and were treated to a delicious dinner and got to meet some fab bloggers--The Divine Miss Mommy, The Domestic Diva, Fashionas Musings, and Mom of 2 Boys. I am bummed that I missed Secret Agent Mama and Luxe Tips {hope to meet you ladies soon}!
Then, it was time to shop. And. Shop. We did. In fact, I can usually blow through $100 pretty quickly, but AJ Wright had so many options that I couldn't decide what to spend it on. You guys know that I am a "bag girl"--totally addicted. So, when I saw all of these beautiful purses my heart skipped a beat.
In the end, this gorgeous overnight bag won me over! Can you believe the price--$24.99 and she even has wheels.
You can find racks and racks of clothing for everyone in the family. Gorgeous shoes too for prices that are truly unbelievable.

At times, you do have to hunt a little to find the hidden gems, but they are definitely there. You just have to look a little. Nine West. Adidas. Calvin Klein. Coogi. Timberland. And much, much more.
One of my favorite areas of the store {besides the bags-lol} was the home section. I loved these fiery red pots and pans.
In the end, I became the proud owner this huge 21 piece cutlery {knives} set for only $34.99. How is that even possible?!
I can't wait to go back for Christmas. Their toy selection is HUGE.

I'm impressed.
What really impressed me about AJ Wrights though is the layout and "feel" of the store. It is modern, bright, well-lit, and you can see everything as soon as you walk in. I hate "feeling" like I am shopping at a discount store, you know? The AJ Wrights that I visited was not like that all. Loved it!
