Now that school is in full swing, most moms are turning their attention to how to pack good, healthy lunches for their kids that are also convenient. That can be a tall order when everyone is busy with work, sports, recitals, etc! That's why Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Safeway have partnered up to offer a "better for you" eating solution for kids--the new Eating Right Kids food and beverage line.

With more than 60 items across 18 different categories--there is something for everyone--even the pickiest of kids! You'll find everything from breakfast foods, portable meals, snacks, beverages, and frozen meals to produce and dairy products. Plus, the foods feature the beloved characters from Looney Tunes {so cute}! Best of all, the Eating Right Kids line has been formulated with kids nutritional needs in mind and meet the standards on the most recent dietary recommendations. The Eating Right Kids initiative was even applauded by the FTC for its ability to have a positive impact on childhood obesity!

Thanks to Team Mom, I recently had the opportunity to try out a few foods from the new Eating Right Kids food and beverage line and they were delish! What I especially like though is how they have really taken the time to make their foods healthy. For instance, the apple juice does not contain any corn syrup and is actually 100% apple juice {amen!}. Their Chewy Bars provide 6 grams of whole grains and also contain absolutely no high fructose corn syrup. Plus, I love that they offer actual fresh produce like carrot sticks or apples while still remaining convenient since they are individually packaged with fat-free dip or peanut butter. These are the things that make me happy because I, like all moms, don't want to sacrifice health for convenience. You don't have to do that with Eating Right Kids!

Want It: You can find the Eating Right Kids line at over 1700 Safeway locations across the country!

*Thanks to Team Mom, Safeway, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products for providing the products for my review.

High fructose corn syrup may have a complicated-sounding name, but it’s simply a kind of corn sugar that is nutritionally the same as table sugar. High fructose corn syrup is made from corn, a natural grain product. High fructose corn syrup is not sweeter than sugar; and high fructose corn syrup, sugar and honey all contain the same number of calories (four calories per gram). A sugar is a sugar, whether it’s honey, high fructose corn syrup, table sugar, or fruit juices. Warmly, Chere Bork, MS RD LN
