Great Wolf Lodge Review {North Carolina}: Things To Do & The Water Park

I know that I have told you guys a lot about The Great Wolf Lodge so far, but I would be remiss if I didn't include a post about what to do at the Lodge--specifically the main attraction--The Water Park!
The Water Park is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The best way to tell you about it is to show you! Here is a quick video of a few of the rides at the water park.
You probably noticed in the video how the water park is so calm--that's because we went during the week. I highly recommend visiting during the week so that you and your kids don't have to wait in lines to ride the slides. We never waited more than a couple of minutes--most of the time there was no waiting at all!
Also, don't bother taking your child's life jackets, water wings, or tubes--they are all provided by the Lodge free of charge! Another thing that I have to mention is that the water park is very safe. There are lifeguards everywhere and they are seriously like the Royal Guard {lol}. They are focused in on the kids and nothing breaks their concentration. They are amazing and make you feel very comfortable.

Of course, there are a whole lot of things to do at The Great Wolf Lodge besides the water park. MagiQuest, in particular, is very popular with the kids! It is a one-of-a-kind, live-action adventure game. Armed with high-tech wands, your family must solve magical challenges throughout the resort to gain powers (and points) and move to higher levels of the game. Lucas did not play this game since he is too young for it, but we saw kids excitedly running all over the Lodge with their "wands" in hand. Preschoolers will love Cub Club, where they can do arts and crafts projects with their parents.

Tweens and teens will love the gr8_space Tech Center or the Northern Lights Arcade--there's even a spa for kids {and one for the adults too!}! There really is something for everyone--young and old--at The Great Wolf Lodge! It's a must-visit place! You will not be disappointed. Promise.

We just came back from the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound Washington and it is AMAZING!
I completely agree. It was a lot of fun and going during the week is a very good idea, we did the same.
