I had the really awesome opportunity to watch an advanced screening of ABC's new show, Modern Family and it is hilarious! If you like dry, witty humor--you will love this show. We'd heard of the show before, but after Mike and I watched the pilot episode last night, we decided to go ahead and add it to our DVR lineup. We watch a lot of dramas and reality TV so Modern Family is a welcome departure from what we normally watch. Plus, I love Ed O'Neill and he is his usual sarcastic and very funny self in Modern Family!

Synopsis: The show follows three "modern" families - Jay (Ed O'Neill from Married with Children) who re-marries a much younger and hotter Colombian wife (Sofia Vergara) with a very passionate pre-teen son... Claire (Julie Bowen from Boston Legal) who has 3 kids and whose husband thinks he's the "cool dad" ... and Jay's son Mitchell and his partner Cameron who just adopted a Vietnamese baby.
