We are avid readers at my house and we do everything that we can to instill that same love for books into Lucas as well. As a result, the kiddo loves books just as much as his mama and dada! Storytime is a favorite around my house! I'll be honest though--I have a hard time finding children's books that I really love. You know those books that you actually enjoy reading to your child? Like Dr. Seuss for example--he is one of my all time favorites, but it is almost impossible to find those types of books anymore. Until I discovered Shankman & O'Neill Children's Books.
Ed Shankman and Dave O'Neill are the perfect duo when it comes to writing children's books. Ed Shankman has been writing children's books since he himself was a child. Dave O'Neill is an illustrator and graphic designer who also began drawing when he was a child. Together, they have written three children's books--I Met a Moose In Maine One Day, The Boston Balloonies, and The Cods of Cape Cod Love Their Summer Vacation.

Truly, these are some of favorite books to read to Lucas and more importantly--Lucas loves them too! They are whimsical and fun and the words just roll off your tongue.
