American Made. Eco-friendly. Green Toys {Review}

I couldn't put together a Holiday Gift Guide without including one of my all time favorite toy companies--Green Toys! By now, I am sure most moms have heard of them. They have been featured on Live with Regis and Kelly, made People's Gift Guide, won numerous awards--including the highly respected Oppenheim Toy Award Gold 2009, and much more.

If by chance you have not heard of Green Toys, here's a little bit of background on them:

About Green Toys:
Green Toys Inc. makes an awesome line of classic children’s toys constructed from recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of the planet. Green Toys are SAFE for our children and good for our planet. They contain no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA and have no external coatings so there is no need to worry about lead! Green Toys are all made here in the USA.

Not long ago, Green Toys added several more toys to their lineup--one of them being the Recycling Truck. Green Toys sent Lucas the Recycling Truck for me to review and it is awesome--like all of their toys! It has a movable recycling bed and an open/shut rear door. Best of all, it is a SAFE and FUN toy that opens the door to having conversations with our kids about protecting the planet.

Want It: Green Toys can be purchased at various online retailers and toy stores across the country. The Recycling Truck retails for $19.68 at Amazon.com.

    They're one of my favorites, too. How can you not love toys made from recycled plastic milk cartons? So creative.
