Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas for Kids! {Here Comes Santa Giveaway!}

I think all of us can agree that one of the best things to open on Christmas morning is the stocking. Loved it as a kid. Love it now. As a mom, I almost think of finding the best stocking stuffers as a challenge. Here are some of my top stocking stuffer picks for this holiday season!
My Little Pony: One of my favorite toys as a kid and still a favorite among young girls. My Little Pony figures are classic toys that have endured the test of time. Young girls will have fun brushing their pony's hair and playing with the included activity book. Plus, there are so many ponies to choose from--one for every type of little girl! They are fun and cute and affordable! MSRP: $5.99 at toy retailers across the country.
Mr. Potato Head: Another classic that every child should own! I recently received the Fire Fighter Spud to review and he is a riot! Lucas loves all things firetrucks so this is perfect for him. Potato body comes with nose, eyes, teeth, mustache, pair of ears, pair of arms, shoes, hat and fire extinguisher accessories. Of course, there are all sorts of Spuds in the lineup--from Princesses to Pirates to Santa! MSRP: Start at $3.99 toy retailers across the country.
Hexbug Nano: Created by Innovation First, these micro robotic bugs use the physics of vibration and its robotic intelligence to navigate even the most complicated mazes. I received a couple of them and it is so cool how they do learn the obstacles around them and become smarter. I did have to get over the creepiness of them scurrying around like bugs LOL. I don't think kids will mind though! These "bugs" even come with an online experience dedicated to teaching kids about science and technology. These are HOT right now--they even won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award--trust me--your children will love them! You can buy these at Radio Shack and Toys R Us. MSRP: $7.99
Little Kids No Spill Bubble Tumbler Minis: OK, so these are the BEST bubbles out there. They are affordable, are small enough for toddlers, and best of all--they are NO SPILL. Now, toddlers can blow their own bubbles without making a mess. I don't know of a toddler or preschooler that doesn't squeal with delight when a bottle of bubbles comes out. Kids love them. Adults love them. Now, parents will love them too. These really do work too. I received a few to test out and besides some minor wetness every once in a while--they really do not spill! Kids can tip it, drop it, even turn it upside down... the liquid magically stays inside! These are also no stain, no dye, and non-toxic. Look for these at major toy retailers across the country.
Baby Genius Sing Along Board Books: I am LOVING these new board books by Baby Genius! These board books encourage parents and children to sing together as they follow each fun and educational story. Basically, each book features a kid favorite song and uses that to teach children about movement, singing, animals, and counting. What's fun about it is that the books include the words to the songs so parents can sing with their kids and really make it a FUN experience. You will get to relive the adventures of Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Greedy, Jokey, Gargamel (that poor wizard) and his lazy cat Azreal, and share them with your own kids as well. “Get your smurf on” with volume 3 The Smurfs World of Wonders. This great DVD contains 5 episodes from the classic cartoon, as well as some cool extra features to help you and your family get to know the Smurfs. Lucas has loved this DVD.
