Holiday & Christmas Gift Ideas for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Today, I want to tell you guys about some wonderful gift ideas for the little ones--the babies, toddlers and preschoolers--in your life! All of the toys featured here satisfy what I feel are some of the most important gifts we can give our children--learning, creativity, culture, a foreign language, and an appreciation for books and reading. I hope that you enjoy these as much as I do!
First up is the Chat and Count Cell Phone from Leapfrog.
This little phone packs in a whole lot of learning and fun into one small package! Sing along to songs about counting and phone routines, explore more than 15 phone activities and call on Scout for learning fun as you trade calls and voicemails with your puppy pal. Skills learned--numbers, pretend play, and social skills. Retail value: $14.99 at toy retailers across the country.
Next is the Mega Bloks Play 'n Go Table, which is really a must-have for every baby and toddler.
Not only is it fun for kids, but it's a sanity saver for parents. What's great about it is that the table legs fold so the entire thing stores pretty flat. Plus, all of the blocks fit neatly inside. The Play 'n Go Table is basically a 3-n-1 toy--the table acts as a building platform, storage container, and is perfect for on the go play! How many toys can you say that about?! I first saw the Play 'n Go Table at the Time to Play Holiday Showcase a couple of months ago and I fell in love with it back then. Recently, MEGA Brands sent one for me to test out and review and I love it even more! Kids can build an entire town, learn about colors, shapes, and sizes. The Little Pim series uses the Entertainment Immersion Method™, which engages a child’s natural love of play, watching real kids and learning through repetition. Lucas has been watching Eating and Drinking: Spanish Language for Toddlers, Babies & Preschoolers for about a week and he is already saying Spanish words! This DVD introduces more than 60 Spanish words and phrases for mealtimes. I am very excited about the Little Pim foreign language series and look forward to trying out more of their products. Languages available: Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Hebrew, English (ESL), German, Arabic and Russian!
Last, but certainly not least is another Leapfrog toy--the Tag Jr. Book Pal, which fulfills yet another one of the greatest gifts you can give a child--the love of books and reading.
