I'm moving to Oregon on December 18th to care for my elderly parents (and escape my divorce), so we'll get a tree and decorate when I get there. They usually don't decorate or do anything special for Christmas when its just them, but I will make their Christmas holiday very special for them:) It's about a 12-hour drive from my current residence to Redmond, OR, so Yes, I'll be travelling this holiday season :)

Our family is scattered across the country but this year we have decided to stay home because of the economy. It will feel strange wishing loved ones a Merry Christmas by phone and ecard but we are determined to be frugal a bit longer or until things get a bit better. We will be volunteering with our local food bank this holiday.

We are very fortunate to be staying home this holiday season. It would be so hard with my 3 and 1 year old.
