Natural, Safe Cold Remedy for Kids: Sinupret for Kids {Review}

Tuesday, January 05, 2010 Posted by Jolly Mom

When young kids get sick there really isn't much parents can do in terms of medicine. Saline solution in the nose. Fluids and rest. That's about it. No cold or cough medicine allowed. What's a parent to do? Enter Sinupret for Kids. Recommended by top pediatricians the world over {such as the highly respected Dr. Sears!} and approved by moms who want a safe, trusted, natural remedy for their kids, Sinupret for Kids is a simple and effective solution for children everywhere.

About Siunpret for Kids {from the website}:
Sinupret for Kids is a proprietary blend of European Elder, Common Sorrel, Cowslip, European Vervain and Gentian.

* Supports the upper respiratory system.
* Promotes healthy nasal passages.
* Strengthens the immune system.
* Sinupret has been the subject of multiple randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials for efficacy and safety on more than 3,000 patients and recommended for children ages 2 & up.
* Does not contain stimulants, caffeine, ephedra or pseudoephedrine.
* Sinupret has no history of dangerous side effects
* Sinupret is cited as safe and effective in several medical journals such as the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Plant Medica, the Pharmacist's Letter for Efficacy and Safety and the American Council Guide to Herbs.
* Heart-safe and Gluten-free

To be honest, I hear all of the above and I still tend to be leery. I mean--companies always tell us their products are safe so I like to look at the product's history as well. That is what really impresses me about Sinupret! The Sinupret product line, developed by Bionorica, has been the #1 most widely recommended, scientifically tested nasal and sinus support formula in Germany for children for more than 70 years! Sinupret for Kids has been recommended by German physicians more than 3,500,000 times to their patients. There has never been one serious side effect from Sinupret for Kids and its efficacy is so well-documented that it is the most prescribed product by pediatricians in Europe. WOW.

I first heard about Siunpret for Kids from Dr. Bob Sears. He highly recommends Sinupret and says,
"Sinupret for Kids is a natural product that I have found to be very effective at supporting the sinus, respiratory, and immune systems. It is not a drug, but a plant-based remedy that has been used in Europe for decades and is now available in the U.S. The active ingredients are an all-natural combination of 5 plants that have been studied extensively and have a long track record of safety in Europe and around the world. Sinupret promotes healthy drainage in the upper respiratory tract, improves airflow in the nose and supports healthy mucous clearance from the nose and sinuses."
About one month before I was asked to review Siunpret for Kids, I actually bought it on my own. Lucas had a pretty bad cold and was sniffling so bad he could barely sleep at night. After a couple of days of taking Sinupret, he was noticeably better. I totally believe in Sinupret for Kids since then and recommend it to friends and family every chance I get. Even Mike, my hubby was so impressed that he recommended it to his own sister for her kids. If your kids get a cold or the sniffles, it is definitely worth it to try out Sinupret for Kids!

Want It: Sinupret for Kids is available for purchase at drugstores across the country or online for $16.99.

    I've recommended this to my DIL for the grandson, because he gets so miserable when his nose is stuffy.
    Thanks for your great review.
