Wordless Wednesday: Carpe Diem...

Last week, Atlanta actually got some snow. Not a lot, but in Georgia any snow--even flurries--is cause for excitement. So, at midnight--Mike and I woke Lucas up to play in the snow. We figured that by morning the snow could be all gone. Why miss this moment? Needless to say, Lucas loved it. And, so did we.

I LOVE that you woke him up. To me that says a whole lot of good stuff about your parenting. :)

How cool! Some parts of Florida reported flurries. My oldest said, "We missed the snow?!" Ummm...We just left a foot of snow in NC. I guess she was excited that it snowed here for once. I might have woke my kids up for a snow at midnight too.

How exciting! We live in coastal VA and know exactly what you mean. Looks like you got more than we did last week. My kids were really hoping for enough to play in, but it was pretty bare.
Great shots.

I'm in North Florida, and woke up about 3 or 4 times last Friday...just to see at least one flurry. Didn't happen. Happened south of me though! Lucky Lucas to get to play in the snow! I would've woken my kids up too!!

It must be so fun to have snow when you do. We get it all the time where we live. Hubby loves it because he goes skiing. I don't like to drive in it but it is very pretty at times. I'm happy you guys enjoyed this rare event. :)

That's such a wonderful thing to do for your child when they don't get to see much snow!

Piera, he is going to remember that forever... and be telling all his friends and his kids about this time that it snowed when he was little and his mom and dad were SO COOL that they woke him up at midnight just so he could play in it! I can hear him now, "Don't I have just the bestest parents in the WHOLE world???"
You guys ROCK!!
