Feel & Look Great During and After Your Pregnancy with Mustela 9 Months! {Review & Giveaway}
One of the first products that I want to talk about this week tackles something something that most moms have to deal with: feeling good about themselves during and after pregnancy. Of course, pregnancy is magical. You're growing a life. What about how you feel though? Your body is going through so many changes and it can be difficult to feel good about yourself. We have to deal with achy joints and muscles, stretch marks, varicose veins, cellulite, and saggy skin. There aren't many products out there that can truly help these issues. Many aren't intended for use by women during pregnancy and most just flat out don't work. That's why I was excited to try out a few products for women by Mustela. Mustela is a brand that I fell in love with back when Lucas was a newborn and the only product that worked on his eczema was their Stelatopia Cream.
Mustela makes a complete line of specific skin care products designed to accompany your changing skin during pregnancy and post-partum, called 9 Months. In fact, 9 Months is the only complete line of products made for women during and after pregnancy. These products are developed under medical supervision and are clinically tested to provide safety, efficacy and pleasure of use.
Mustela 9 Months draws upon the unique association of 3 specific active ingredients:

Benefits include:

Benefits include:
The Post Partum Body Restructuring Gel is probably the one product that I was most excited about trying, but while I do notice that the skin on my thighs seems a bit smoother, I have not had huge results yet. However, I have only been using it for 3 weeks and Mustela's claim is that you should see visible results in 4 weeks. Also, when this product was tested for efficacy, it was tested on 92 women 3 months after they had given birth and obviously that does not apply to me.

Benefits include:
What I love about the 9 Months line is that it literally has you covered during and after pregnancy and the products are all tested for effectiveness and safety. All the 9 Months products are designed to minimize the risk of allergic reaction, are very lightly fragranced, and more importantly--they are designed and manufactured by health professionals to guarantee optimum safety when used during pregnancy, post-partum and while breastfeeding. Clinical tests are performed under the medical supervision of dermatologists, gynecologists, and phlebologists to prove the efficacy of Mustela 9 Months products.
Want It: Mustela 9 Months line is available online and at retailers across the country.

Mustela 9 Months draws upon the unique association of 3 specific active ingredients:
- Elastoregulator, a natural active ingredient that enables skin to adapt to tissue stretching by strengthening its elasticity. It directly activates the production of the skin's support proteins.
- Lupeol, a plant extract, stimulates biosynthesis and ensures that the collagen, naturally produced by the skin, is of good quality.
- Chlorophycea extract reduces the skin's increased reactivity and limits feelings of hypersensitivity. The skin is smoothed and remains elastic and supple, to better withstand stretching.
- Stretch Marks Double Action to help prevent and reduce new stretch marks.
- Stretch Marks Intensive Action helps to minimize existing stretch marks.
- Instant Comfort Legs helps prevent and relieve discomfort of the legs during pregnancy.
- Specific Support Bust soothes breast tightness and the sensation of stretching during pregnancy.
- Ultimate Hydration is a body lotion to address skin dryness and sensitivity during pregnancy.
- Post Partum Body Restructuring Gel addresses the main side effects of pregnancy, skin slackening and unappealing excess fatty deposits, on the figure.
- Nursing Comfort Balm an easy-to apply, non-sticky, non-staining, triple-action formula that protects, soothes and restructures the skin for breat-feeding moms.
- Body Firming Activator a dietary supplement specifically designed for mothers who have just given birth. Helps reduce unwanted localized fatty deposits, helps restructure the skin and promotes the reduction of water retention.

Benefits include:
- Helps strengthen the wall of leg tissue with the combined action of Elastoregulator® (soy peptide derivative), Lupeol and two stimulating active plant substances (escin and ximeninate).
- Moisturizes skin with hyaluronic acid-based formulation.
- Helps soothe skin hypersensitivity and sensations of tightness with the action of Chlorophycea extract.

Benefits include:
- Helps reduce size, depth and color of stretch marks.
- Helps remodel skin support fibers (collagen and elastin) which have been affected by tissue distension, with the Elastoregulator®, Lupeol and a stimulating peptide.
- Actively stimulates the skin cells and favors tissue regeneration, with AHA, silicium and vitamin B5.
- May be used during breast-feeding (follow proper hygiene rules before breast feeding).
- Compatible with sonograms.
- Tested clinically under gynecological control.

- Restores skin firmness with a combination of Elastoregulator® (Soy protein), Lupeol and Centella Asiatica, which have renowned firming properties.
- Helps remodel body contours with two patented active ingredients: Genistein and Sophora Japonica, with draining properties to effectively redefine body contours while limiting the buildup of fatty tissues.
- Provides a sense of well-being and vitality upon application, with its tightening and refreshing effect.
- Appropriate for the post partum stage: Respects the increased sensitivity of the skin. Alcohol-free and caffeine-free. Preserves moisture.
- Skin is firmer (84%), more toned (89%), and restructured (81%). Body contours are refined (75%).
