The Perfect Easter Basket Gift: Hey, Rabbit! {AWESOME Easter Giveaway}

Friday, March 26, 2010 Posted by Jolly Mom

With Easter around the corner, it's time to start filling those Easter baskets with goodies for the kiddos! I have the perfect gift idea: Hey, Rabbit! a children's book by Sergio Ruzzier that is sure to become an Easter classic.

Photobucket
Hey, Rabbit! is an adorable book about a rabbit, his friends, and his magical suitcase. Each one of Rabbit's friends--Dog, Toucan, Bear, Cat, Mouse, and Crab--wonder if there's anything in Rabbit's suitcase for them. The suitcase delivers big time by giving each of the friends a magical surprise. There's even a magical surprise for Rabbit himself!

Watch the Book Trailer:

Kids will absolutely love Hey, Rabbit! The book is beautifully illustrated with a touch of whimsy and magic at the turn of every page. This is a perfect Easter gift!

Want It: Hey, Rabbit! is available to purchase at bookstores nationwide or online at Amazon.com and Borders.

WIN IT!
One Jolly Mom reader will win an Easter basket that includes a copy of the book, a Lindt chocolate bunny, Easter eggs and an original signed ink and watercolor framed drawing of Rabbit!

    Actually all of my babies are now moms and dads themselves making me grandma and I always buy my granddaughters a big jelly egg covered with dark chocolate and decorated with white chocolate that a local candy shop makes. They are awesome so I get myself one also which I share with Bubbles my kitty who loves them to. Of course I also stick a few bucks in their cards. Have found that money is always a good fit, always the right color and always appreciated.

    Oh man this is a hard one b/c I keep thinking about it but haven't bought any. We need to make 7 baskets so I mentioned maybe getting these Easter cups instead with some treats to put in their bigger baskets that we can use to put all the stuff they get from extended family and for their egg hunt. Don't know.

    I help stock my granddaughter's basket, and she is one of those kids who struggle with weight so we minimize the candy: one small gourmet chocolate rabbit and a few really good jelly beans will cover the sweets. Then I love to tuck in spring/summer accessories (I have some hair ornaments, flip-flops, a glittery sash, little-girl nail polish - that type of thing) and maybe a little money. I also give her books for EVERY occasion and the Hey, Rabbit story and drawing would be perfect. Thank you for the giveaway!

    Well, I am not doing an Easter basket for anyone this year. My daughter does not want anything. My nieces will get cash. My grandnephew, who will be 1 on April 8th, will get a toy.

    My husband and I don't want to put too much candy in our two grand daughters' baskets, so we bought them each a DVD movie and some Easter themed toys, like a wind up chick and bunny. This prize would be perfect!

    This year we are doing some Easter shopping the Friday before. My daughter loves hair/body care items, so I will be getting some of that stuff plus a couple books, and a little bit of candy.

    We're doing Ian a wagon with blocks, Thomas stuff, gardening stuff and of course a little bit of candy - mostly outside toys, though.
