Some of you may remember My Peachy Avocado Delight recipe {pictured above} that I shared with you guys a few weeks ago. Well, it was also an entry into a national recipe contest put on by the Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association! There were some amazing recipe entries so I am beyond thrilled and honored to announce that my recipe was chosen as a BIG HIT Recipe finalist!

Voting starts today and will continue until October 28; with the winner announced on October 29. The player with the BIG HIT – the recipe with the most online votes – will be hailed as the Avocado League champion and MVP and be awarded the Grand Slam prize package and receive $5,000 and a year’s supply of avocados. Second and third place winners will also receive a year’s supply of avocados and a $2,500 and $1,500, respectively, cash prize.

I can't even begin to express how big of a financial help it would be for my family and I if my recipe won--it would truly be huge. I would love it and be forever thankful if you could take a moment to vote for me if you think my recipe deserves to win. You can vote once per day and voting is literally a click!
