Tiny Prints For Mom Party {#TinyPrints4Mom}
We're all gearing up for Mother's Day which is only a little more than a week away. What are you doing to honor your mom? Remember back in the day...when we'd make our moms cards with construction paper, glue, glitter, and macaroni? Those cards are the ones that are cherished because they are personal. They mean something. They mean more than a pre-written card you get at the grocery store. That's why I am a huge fan of Tiny Prints new line of Mother's Day cards! They can be customized and personalized with pictures and your own message. Prices start at just $1.99 and right now you can one FREE Mother's Day card if you LIKE Tiny Prints on Facebook!
It's like the macaroni and glue days...just a little more grown up.
This past Thursday night, Tiny Prints and the Clever Girls Collective gave me the opportunity to celebrate some special friends and moms in my life. Not only was it wonderful to get to see all of my online friends in person, but it was really special to get to celebrate them as moms. Here are the amazing women that attended...
Stacie from The Divine Miss Mommy
Desiree from Stress Free Baby
Alicia from The Mommy Insider
Jennifer from Mami to Mommy
Amy from Marvelous Mommy
Diane from Turning the Clock Back
Sue from Field Trips with Sue
Karen from In the Kitchen with KP
Tiny Prints really outdid themselves and provided all of the delicious food...
and even spa services. We all got our nails done and even got massages!
it got late too quickly. We all just wanted to continue chatting and hanging out, but alas real life beckoned.
With some parting gifts and lots of hugs, the party ended...
Thank you, Tiny Prints and Clever Girls Collective for allowing me to honor my friends and fellow moms. And, thank you to the lovely ladies who came to the party...love you, girls!

Stop the Pillow Stacking Madness! Try the Stress Ease Comfort Reader Pillow {Giveaway}
For years, it was kind of a joke between Mike and me that I would hog all of the pillows. By hog, I mean I would take five pillows and stack them up behind me. It's the only way that I could get comfortable to read a book or watch TV before bed. I guess it was funny to me, but Mike probably didn't find it that funny to not have a pillow LOL. Now, I only use one pillow though. The Stress Ease Comfort Reader Pillow, that is. This is the pillow of all pillows if you are a reader! It is designed by United Feather & Down and sleep expert and best selling author, Dr. James Mass.
The Stress Ease Comfort Reader Pillow is the first support pillow to be designed specifically for the pre-sleep ritual, providing superior comfort while resting, watching T.V., or doing homework. Dr. James B. Maas discusses the importance of a nightly pre-sleep ritual, explaining:
"In order to sleep soundly through the night, your body needs to prepare itself for the long period of inactivity ahead. It needs a buffer between the day’s stress and the night’s rest. You need to find peace and calm in the hour before bed. Slipping between the sheets and closing your eyes should be the very last part of the pre-sleep ritual."
I 100% agree with Dr. Mass! I have to unwind before bed--whether it's reading a book, flipping through a magazine, or watching a little bit of TV. It's one of my favorite parts of the day actually. Those quiet moments before bed where I get to sneak in a little me time. Comfort is key though. The Stress Ease Comfort Reader Pillow is constructed with an independent lumbar compartment providing support for the lower back. That means no more stacking five pillows to get comfy! Plus, the pillow comes with a hot/cold therapy pack that slips into a pocket for additional relief from aches and pains. LOVE this!
With Mother's Day literally around the corner, the Stress Ease Comfort Reader Pillow would make an excellent gift for moms! Each Stress Ease Comfort Reader pillow is packaged with a copy of Dr. Maas’ sleep tips booklet, featuring excerpts from his best-selling books to help you achieve the best sleep possible. The Stress Ease Comfort Reader is available at The Great Indoors nationwide for a MSRP of $49.95.
The featured product{s} in this post were provided to me free of charge by the manufacturer or pr company representing the company. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and not influenced in any way by anyone. Please refer to this site's Terms of Use for more information.

They've been making toys for more than 25 years! 2011 has been a big year for Learning Resources as they have introduced more than 80 brand new "teacher-approved" toys and multi-sensory items for kids 2 years and up. Many of these new toys are perfect for Spring and Summer! One of our favorites is the Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop. If you follow Jolly Mom, then you know that Lucas is really big into cooking so this sweet little ice cream set is right up his alley! It combines his love of cooking and ice cream into one!
It comes with four scoops of ice cream, two cones, two ice cream dishes, two spoons, a banana that “splits,” a scooper, apron, write & wipe menu card and chocolate syrup bottle that “squirts” mess-free pretend chocolate. It's perfect for siblings or several kids to play together.
Retails for $26.99. Available at www.learningresources.com, online retailers and specialty stores.
The featured product{s} in this post were provided to me free of charge by the manufacturer or pr company representing the company. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and not influenced in any way by anyone. Please refer to this site's Terms of Use for more information.

{not so} Wordless Wednesday: Our Easter in Pictures...
Easter morning began with a visit from the Easter Bunny. A trail of eggs led Lucas to this...
he was a very happy boy despite having been sick with 103 fever the night before...
after bunny pancakes, we made cupcakes for the dinner we were hosting later that day. I made these {recipe coming soon}...
and, Lucas made these...
after he made his cupcakes, he took them into the living room where I photograph all of my food and said he was going to take pictures of his cupcakes. I think we have a future blogger on our hands LOL...
after more cooking and a huge mess in the kitchen...
Lucas took a nap and Mike and I got started on decorating for the party and Easter egg hunt...
the party was great! We all sat around outside, munching on appetizers and chatting the early evening away...
the kids painted Easter eggs...
then, it was time for the Egg Hunt!

Kick Back with the Girls Experience at Outback Steakhouse {Giveaway}
As women, it's so important that we hang out with our girl friends. Chatting on the phone is fine, but actual face time is totally different. I always feel revived and refreshed after spending time with my friends. As a blogger and a mom, I am home on my computer or with Lucas most of the time so the moments I actually get to see my friends are priceless. It's also great to actually get to hang out with the women I normally only talk to online on Twitter and Facebook. I actually got to do that the other day. Stacie, Alicia, Desiree and I all met up for a couple of hours of much needed girl time. Well, we were supposed to be planning a party, but that didn't happen until the last 15 minutes of our 2 hour "meeting". We had too much to chat about LOL!
That's why I'm loving Outback Steakhouse's newest campaign, Kick Back with the Girls! They are giving away 500 Kick Back with the Girls at Outback Dinner for 4 Experiences – that’s a total of 50 per day from April 20 through April 29. Each Kick Back with the Girls at Outback Dinner for 4 Experience has $90 worth of Outback gift certificates—enough for you and three friends to enjoy shareable Aussie-Tizers, fresh entrees and irresistible desserts like the Strawberry Waffle Shortcake. Tell your girlfriends to go online for their chance to win!
In the meantime, Outback Steakhouse wants to give one YOU a Kick Back with the Girls Experience as well!

Earth Week Giveaway: Drink Your H20 in Style!
As part of our Eco Living Week, New Wave Enviro will be giving away their gorgeous Floral Flip N' Sip Stainless Steel Water Bottle to one lucky Jolly Mom reader and to one lucky Go Graham Go reader, as well as giving one away at our #EcoLiving11 Twitter Party on Friday (Earth Day)!
Going green doesn't have to be hard. There are simple steps that we can all take that are affordable, doable, and that will make a difference. One way is reducing waste. Rather than buying bottled water, get a water filtration system and fill up a reusable water bottle. Not only is this cheaper in the long run and better for our planet, but it is also so much better for our health. We've all heard of BPA and the toxic chemicals that are contained in certain plastics. They wreak havoc on our bodies--especially our kids! If you want to go green, you should check out New Wave Enviro--a wonderful company that focuses on critical health and environmental issues facing us today.
